How to Apply for AADHAAR Card for Foreigner

To apply for a new AADHAAR Card enrolment registration, foreigners must visit a nearby AADHAAR Card enrolment centre with the required supporting documents. At the AADHAAR Card enrolment centre, each foreign national has to fill a separate AADHAAR Card enrolment form 7 or 8 based on the applicant age, with requested details. For an adult foreign national applicant above age 18, use AADHAAR Card application Form 7. In the AADHAAR Card enrolment form, the foreign citizen can only write his / her local Indian mobile phone number, international / non-Indian mobile numbers are not supported. The foreigner applicant has to provide his / her local Indian address; international / non-Indian addresses are not supported. Once the filled up form and the supporting documents are in order, each foreigner applicant's biometric (iris scan, fingerprints scan and photograph) and demographic data will be captured electronically and sent to the central data processing servers.

The child has to visit a nearby AADHAAR Card enrolment centre in India, accompanied by father / mother / guardian, with the required supporting documents. For every foreigner applicant, including foreigner kids below 5 years of age, a valid foreign Passport is necessary as Proof of Identity and Date of Birth certificate as Proof of Relationship document, to establish the relationship with the accompanying father / mother / guardian. The accompanying father / mother / guardian have to submit their own AADHAAR Card or EID number, if the foreigner child below age 5 is introduced to AADHAAR Card by them. The accompanying father / mother / guardian has to authenticate on behalf of the foreigner child and also give consent for enrolment of the minor child by signing the enrolment form. For foreigner kids below age 5, use AADHAAR Card application Form 8. Foreigner Kids below age 5 are also required to submit their valid long term Indian visa (LTV) and proof of staying 182 days in the last 12 months. Once the filled up form and the supporting documents are in order, each foreigner child applicant's facial photograph and demographic data will be captured electronically and sent to the central data processing servers. For kids below 5 years age, iris scan and fingerprints scan are not captured, only facial photograph is taken.
