How to Fill AADHAAR Card Application Enrolment Form 1 PDF for NRI Online

Fill the AADHAAR Card application enrolment form carefully in capital letters only for easy readability and to minimize chances of any human mistakes. After the AADHAAR Card enrolment registration procedure is complete, AADHAAR Card enrolment acknowledgement slip is given to the NRI applicant. If there are any mistakes, correction in the AADHAAR Card enrolment data can be done immediately if the NRI applicant acts promptly and notifies the operator of any error, when the applicant is still at the AADHAAR Card centre. Once the NRI applicant has left the AADHAAR Card centre, he/she will then have to wait for the AADHAAR Card to get generated and then apply for AADHAAR Card correction / update request. What details to Fill in AADHAAR Card Application Enrolment Form 1 PDF for Adult NRIs

  1. Field 1 Purpose - Since the NRI applicant is enroling for a new AADHAAR Card registration, tick mark on "Enrolment".
  2. Field 2 Resident status - Since the NRI applicant is an adult non-resident Indian Citizen, tick mark on "Non-Resident Indian (NRI)".
  3. Field 3 Demographic information
    1. Field 3 (a) Name - Write full name of the NRI applicant without salutations / titles. Ensure the name matches with the name that is written on the Passport, which acts as a Proof of Identity document which the NRI applicant is going to submit. Minor contrast in the name spelling is permitted as long as it does not differ completely from the name in the Proof of Identity document.
    2. Field 3 (b) Gender - Tick mark on the appropriate box based on the NRI applicant's gender.
    3. Field 3 (c) Date of Birth OR Age - If the exact date of birth is not known, approximate age of the NRI applicant in years can be filled in the "Age" field and tick mark on "Approximate (only for age)". Else, write the exact date of birth of the NRI applicant in DDMMYYYY format in the "Date of Birth" field. If the NRI applicant is going to submit a valid Proof of Date of Birth document, tick mark on "Verified", else tick mark on "Declared" if no Proof of Date of Birth document is available.
    4. Field 3 (d) Email (mandatory) - Write the NRI applicant's email address. Email address is mandatory for NRI applicants, as the e-AADHAAR Card will be sent to this email address once it's generated.
    5. Field 3 (e) Mobile number (optional) - Write the NRI applicant's either international or Indian mobile number, if available. Although it is optional, it is highly recommended to add an Indian mobile number to AADHAAR Card since OTP will be required for many of the AADHAAR Card related services in India. UIDAI does not send SMS/text messages on an international mobile number.
  4. Field 4 Basis of enrolment/update - a valid Indian passport is necessary for an NRI applicant to apply for AADHAAR Card. NRI applicant's passport can act as Proof of Identity as well as Proof of Address if the address mentioned on the passport is still valid. If the NRI applicant has all the required supporting documents, tick mark on "Document verification". If the Indian address mentioned on the NRI applicant's passport is outdated, he/she will have to be introduced by the Head of Family (HoF) (parent or spouse), in which case tick mark on "Confirmation by Head of Family (HoF)".
  5. Field 5 For document-based enrolment/update, additional demographic information and documents presented - If the applicant has all the required supporting documents, fill the below boxes
    1. Field 5 (a) Address Write full address of the NRI applicant and ensure it matches with the address that is written on the passport which acts as a Proof of Address document for the NRI applicant. Minor corrections / enhancements are permitted to make the address complete as long as it does not differ completely from the base address mentioned in the Proof of Address document.
    2. Field 5 (b) Type of documents presented - Passport is mandatory as the Proof of Identity (POI) and Proof of Address (POA) document for NRI applicant. If supporting document for Proof of Date of Birth is available, write the name of the Proof of Date of Birth (PDB) document.
  6. Field 6 For HoF-based enrolment or update of address, additional information and documents presented - If the NRI applicant is introduced by the Head of Family (Hof) since the Indian address mentioned on the passport is outdated, fill the below boxes
    1. Field 6 (a) Details of HoF
      1. Field 6 (a) (i) Name - Write full name of the introducing Head of Family (HoF), without salutations / titles. Ensure the name matches with the name on HoF's AADHAAR Card. Also write the introducing Head of Family (HoF)'s AADHAAR Card number in "Aadhaar No." box.
      2. Field 6 (a) (ii) Relationship with applicant - Tick mark on appropriate box based on the relation of Hof with the NRI applicant, only a Mother or a Father or a Legal guardian can introduce the applicant for AADHAAR Card.
    2. Field 6 (b) Type of Proof of Relationship (POR) document presented - Write the name of the Proof of Relationship document.
    3. Signature of HoF - The introducing Head of Family (HoF) must give consent and hence sign the NRI applicant's AADHAAR Card application enrolment form in this box.
  7. Signature / thumb impression of applicant* - The NRI applicant must give the consent and hence sign the AADHAAR Card application enrolment form in this box. If the NRI applicant is a person with disability who can not sign the AADHAAR Card application form, the appointed guardian will have to give the consent and hence sign the AADHAAR Card application enrolment form on behalf of the NRI applicant and will have to provide document for the same.
